Auckland Council Designation of Area for Building Emergency Management

On Monday 21 June 2021, Auckland Council designated an area in the Papatoetoe region under the Building Act 2004 to support the response and recovery to the tornado on Saturday 19 June.

The Council and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment will review the state of the designation every 90 days.
