The CodeMark Scheme Guidance provides detailed information on the CodeMark product certification scheme for building consent authorities, designers, builders, consumers, and scheme participants.

The guidance seeks to:

  • act as a guide to the Building (Product Certification) Regulations 2022 and scheme rules as they relate to the CodeMark product certification scheme
  • outline how the scheme works and what the certification of a building product or building method entails
  • explain the roles and responsibilities of scheme participants and building consent authorities
