Foil insulation ban

A ban has been declared on the installation and/or repair of foil insulation in residential buildings with existing electrical installations.

This ban is due to safety concerns associated with the method of attaching the foil to the building.

It relates to Building Code Clause G9 Electricity.

This ban is declared from 1 July 2016.
