Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods (AS and VMs) were called compliance documents. Some still have the “compliance document” title but the AS or VMs they contain are valid and unaffected by the name change.

AS/NZS 5601.1:2013 and the Workplace Exposure Standards are updated to the latest versions, including consequential changes to G4/AS1 paragraphs 2.4.1(c) and 3.0.1.

  • G4/VM1 Provides calculations for ventilation rates and air purity.
  • G4/AS1 gives design solutions for different occupancies and combinations of natural and mechanical ventilation. It includes kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, and laundries, both with and without an external wall. It provides one means of complying for the ventilation of spaces containing gas-fuel appliances.
