BC Update 194: Consultation to amend Grade 500E ductile steel mesh testing requirements

We are seeking your feedback on proposed updates to one of the Acceptable Solutions and the Verification Method for Building Code clause B1, in relation to testing of 500E ductile steel mesh.

Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods are issued by MBIE and provide one way of demonstrating compliance with the relevant clauses of the Building Code.

The proposed changes are part of MBIE’s work to ensure Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods reflect the latest research, knowledge and building practices.
